Hopefully from yesterday itself you all downloaded Firefox version 4. As expected the bad news is the status is bar is missing and there is no option for enabling.

If you want to go back to the previous version of Firefox, you can look for the following download links. I took the backup of old Firefox setup and uploaded in the Google sites.
Download Firefox 3.6.15 – http://goo.gl/63wDs (release notes)
Download Firefox 3.6.16 – http://goo.gl/63wDs (release notes)
3.6.16 is the final update before Firefox version 4.
You can also find the localized 3.6.16 version in this mozilla's page.

I keep more than one browser in use at all-times and have often reflected that firefox was my power browser. Full featured and best for exploring new places. This push toward forcing a stripped down user interface is a maddening thing that EVERY browser developer seems to be forcing upon us. Stop it, stop being like everyone else.
If your going to redesign the GUI, you should make the browser into an entirely new product and keep the older version alive and well. In my experience, at least having two browsers open helps me to keep my reading and work sorted out.
At least give us a function key to restore the old user interface quickly, so that I can see all of the missing extension controls and icons that no longer work under FF4.

Simple go to "Help" menu and Click "About Firefox" and take screenshot. Host your screenshot in http://imageshack.us/ and share the URL here.
